Billy Ray Marshall, 76, of Elkton, MD passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Born in Grundy, VA on December 23, 1941, he was the son of the late Robert and Garnett Endicot Marshall.
A U. S. Air Force veteran, Mr. Marshall was an assembler at Chrysler Corporation, Newark, DE for 32 years and then worked at W.L. Gore and Associates. He loved NASCAR, watching old movies and photography.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Freeda Reedy Marshall; children, Teresa L. Bottjer and husband, C.J., and Pamela A. Marshall, all of Elkton, MD and Billy R. Marshall, Jr., and wife, Rebecca, Bear, DE; sister, Sue Farmer and brother, Hugh Marshall; as well at eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Wright; and his brother, Larry Marshall.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2018, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors will be in Union Cemetery, Elkton, MD.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family. Billy Ray was such a good man. Great husband, and father. Was fortunate enough to see him last Oct. Rest in peace my cousin.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. If there is anything we can do, please don't hesitate to ask. We have been neighbors for years and have always had a special place in our hearts for the family. Bill will be missed by many, family and friends alike. Heaven gained an extremely kind and wonderful person yesterday. RIP.
