James J. "Jim" Kennedy
September 27, 1961 - February 6, 2021
State College, Pennsylvania - He is survived by his wife Andrea, whom he married May 18, 1985, and three sons: Matthew (Melanie), Phillip (Kristine), Lincoln (Megan), and two granddaughters Jackie O., and Virginia. He is also survived by one sister Elizabeth Kennedy, three nieces, eight great nieces, three great nephews, and his friend and mentor Tim Manard.
Jim was the Scout Executive of the Juniata Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America in Reedsville, PA. He began his career with the Boy Scouts of America in 1984 in Columbus, OH, and also served councils in Zanesville, OH, Flint and Lansing, MI, and Worcester, MA.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover, OH. Interment will be in St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery in Dover, OH at the family's convenience.
In lieu of flowers, Jim has requested memorials be made to the Juniata Valley Council, BSA - John M. Kriner II Lodge - 9 Taylor Drive Reedsville, PA 17084 in his memory.
