Ronald (Lee) Hillard March 30, 1937 July 9, 2018 Ronald "Lee" Hillard, 81, of 143 Dry Hollow Road, Warriors Mark, passed away on July 9, 2018, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. He was born March 30, 1937, in Baileyville, the son of John Denis (Doc) Hillard and Iva Hope McElwain. On September 2, 1960, he married Nancy Ellenberger in Virginia. He is survived by his wife; daughter Sandy H. and husband Paul Gabel, of Boalsburg; son Michael L. Hillard, of Warriors Mark; grandchildren Sydney and Adler Gabel, Kylie and Payton; great grandchildren Blake and Greyson; and sister Mary Hope Decker, of State College. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962. He worked for Johnson Farm Equipment in Rock Springs and then Bulkmatic Trucking from which he retired in 2000. He was a member of the Claybank Hilton Hunting Club. Friends will be received at the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home, 3784 Warriors Mark Path, Warriors Mark, on Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, July 13, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Susan Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in Gatesburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Centre County PAWS, 1401 Trout Road, State College, PA 16801. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home.
