Obituary

Steven M. Eggleston, Jr. ENFIELD, N.H.- Steven M. Eggleston, Jr., 53, of Enfield, N.H., formerly of Kingston, died suddenly at home on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. Steven was born in Kingston on May 25, 1961, the son Steven M. Eggleston, Sr. of Centennial Colo., and the late Mary-Wynne Deyo. A graduate of Kingston High School class of 1979, he was an avid NY Yankees fan, and was employed as a retail manager. He is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Allen, and her husband Raifer, of Windsor, Vt., Jessica Saladino, and her husband Riley, and Cindy Eggleston, all of Bradford, Vt.; two sisters, Mary “Trish” Cina and Wynn Eggleston, both of Kingston; and grandchildren, Reghan and Makenzie Allen of Windsor, Vt. Aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. Entrusted to the care of the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, at Immaculate Conception Church, 467 Delaware Ave, Kingston, Rev. John W. Borzuchowski, celebrant. Burial next to his mother in the family plot at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kingston, will follow. There are no calling hours, and no procession to church. As a request of Steven’s family: “In lieu of flowers, please pay his kind spirit forward by performing a random act of kindness in his memory”.
