Obituary

Gloria Virginia (Wagner) Snook January 13, 1930 February 18, 2019 Gloria Virginia (Wagner) Snook, 89, of Lo-ganton, Sugar Valley, slipped the bonds of earth on Monday, February 18, 2019, and flew whole and happy to touch the face of her Savior. Gloria is now and forever reunited with the love of her life Ernest (Ernie) Snook who she has greatly missed since June 1, 2014. It is cause for celebration that they are at last, together again. She was a farmer's wife. She is now reunited with her deceased parents George and Ada (Duck) Wagner who celebrated her birth on January 13, 1930, in Greene Township, Clinton County. An infant daughter Gloria Ann also predeceased her, as well as her grandsons Robert Snook, Andrew Hughes; and her sisters Helen June Snyder, Lois Emery and Arnice Karstetter and her triplet siblings who died in infancy. Despite suffering from dementia which robbed her of her memories and so much more, Gloria had moments of great joy when she hugged and held her great-grandchildren (little ones as she called them). She lived an exceptional life of integrity and kindness. She never thought for herself, but gave it to others without measure, expecting nothing in return. Gloria will be forever remembered by her daughter Dianne Keister (Roy, deceased); sons Dennis Snook and Jeffrey Snook (Sandy); nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; sisters Betty Derr, Sharon Winans; and the Wagner brothers, Gardner, Robert, Walter, Merle, Glenn, Arlington Eugene, Elwood and Daryl, spouses and families, in addition to her brother-in-law Lucien M. Snook, Sr. (Shirley), sisters-in-law Kathryn Startzel, Janet Snook, and Shelva Brubaker and families. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019, in the Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren, Eastville, with Pastor Ken Geisewite officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday in the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Final Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Loganton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gloria's name to the Sugar Valley Historical Society, 175 Bull Run Rd., PO Box 62, Loganton, PA 17747. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Wayne P. Urbine Funeral Home, Inc., 95 East Main St., Loganton. "Our FamilyServing your Family"
