Mark A. Bressler

Mark A. Bressler October 2, 1973 February 19, 2017 Mark A. Bressler, 43, of Spring Mills, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Mark was born in State College on October 2, 1973, the son of Mary E. Leathers Bressler, of Bellefonte and Terry R. Bressler, of Belleville. On May 20, 2001, he married the former Lorianne Beck who survives at home. Mark is also survived by his daughters, Grace M. Bressler and Anna L. Bressler, of Spring Mills; his grandmother, Ruth Bressler, of Centre Hall; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Also surviving Mark are his faithful companions, his dog "Sassy" and his cat, "Teeny". Mark was a 1992 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He was a Field Operations Leader for Columbia Gas for over 18 years. Mark loved his job and was a friend to all who met him. He was a member of the Milesburg United Methodist Church. Mark enjoyed Mopar and classic cars, especially restoring them; rummaging through junk yards for old parts to clean up and then resell them. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially kayaking with his wife and daughters and going to his daughters sporting activities. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold O. and Kathryn R. Leathers and Walter T. Bressler. Family and friends will be received at St. John's United Church of Christ, 145 W. Linn Street, Bellefonte on Saturday, February 25, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Douglas W. Fisher, Layman officiating. Burial will be in Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery, Centre Hall. A luncheon will follow at the church after interment services. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to M&T Bank, 161 W.
