A. W. CLARKSON Notice

A horse drawn carriage
carried the coffin of Mr Ashley
Wayne Clarkson (23), of
Clifford Street, Mansfield, to
the service which preceded
cremation at Mansfield crematorium
chapel which was
full to capacity (over 700) with family
and friends. A guard of honour
was formed by the Royal
British Legion and the
Royal British Legion Riders
Branch. During the service
a poem was written and read
out by Ashley's best friend,
Mr James Bean and tributes
given by family members
were read out by, Mr Keith Brown.

Brother-in-Law Craig Gregory

and Friends James Bean & L/Cpl Ashley Adams.

Born at King's Mill Hospital, Sutton, Mr Clarkson, who
was educated at Intake Farm Primary School, Cumberlands
Middle School and Queen Elizabeth School had lived
locally all his life.
On leaving school he joined the Army serving with the
Royal Logistics for six years leaving in Apil 2011. He then
worked for G&L Plastering then Jet Joinery until his death.
He enjoyed playing football as a striker for Linney's,
and any form of sport especially P.E. golf, fishing and going
to the gym. He also loved socialising with his many friends
but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Mr Clarkson, who died at his home, leaves his mum and
step-father,Ms Mary Fells and Mr Darren Brailsford of Dallas
Street, Mansfield, his father and step-mum, Mr Wayne
and Mrs Wendy Clarkson of Titchfield Avenue, Mansfield
Woodhouse, girlfriend, Miss Chloe Thompson, sisters and
brothers, Natasha, Kelly, James, Hollie, Saskia, Sávanna,
Gracé, William, Harry and Natasha, niece Ava, grandparents,
aunts and uncles and his extended family.
