I had originally met Tod and Patsy Baker at Weight Watcher's in Charleston. They were such a nice couple. Then a few years later I began working at The Citadel and there I would see Tod. He was a gentleman and will be missed by all.

I was so sorry to hear about Tod's death. I met "Mr. Baker" in 1967 when I was not quite 4 years old.
My father is a retired Citadel professor as well and my Mom enjoyed inviting Tod and a couple of other bachelor professors in the Political Science department to join us for dinner several times a month. Tod was such a kind man and he made quite an impression on me! My Mom said I would get all dressed up when I knew that Mr. Baker was coming for dinner! Years later, we enjoyed getting to know his wife Patsy too. May he rest in peace and know that he touched many lives.
