To the Lee Family - Tony and I were very surprised and saddened to hear of Mr. Lee's passing from Sam this week. We enjoyed meeting and socializing with all of you at the various get togethers when Becky & Sam lived next door. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Dear Lee Family, I was truly saddened to hear of Mr. Lee's passing. I have great childhood memories of our families together growing up in Bayfront. Your Dad was a great Dad! We have old family movies of us kids running around in the yard playing. Our fences joined back-to-back. Good Times to be remembered for sure. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Lee Family, I was truly sorry to learn of Bob's death. His passing will be a real loss to all who knew him. He was a special person. I worked with him many years before he went to SOUTHNAVFAC and if there is a true gentleman, he was it. With my continued prayers and deepest sympathy.

I just want each and every one of you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you at this diffcult time. Bob was a true Southern Gentlemen. I enjoyed our passing conversations about Commander Naval Base Days. We could actually call names and recall various events from that era. The fact that he worked there prior to me didnot change the events much, I just updated them. He will be missed. He was such a wonderful co-worker here at SPAWAR CHASN, and A Family Man I can still remember his wonderful display of family photos at his desk.
May God bless you all!

So sorry for your loss. Your family is in my prayers during this rough time. My family too is from James Island and my brothers' best friend was Robert (Eddie) Lee from Fort Johnson High. His name was Danny. May you find comfort in the joy shared having known such a wonderful person.

To the Lee Family: I was shocked and saddened to learn of Bob’s passing. I worked with him in the Acquisition Department at NAVFAC in Charleston. He always had a smile on his face and something cheerful to say. Bob was indeed special, a blessing to all who knew him, a wonderful Southern gentleman, and a devoted husband, father, grandfather. Although many people will miss him here on earth, I pray that it will bring all that mourn his loss comfort that he is at peace with our Lord. Just think, one day we believers will be reunited and joined together with our Lord and Savior for all eternity. May God comfort you during this very difficult time and keep his protective arms around you. God bless you all.

To Bob's family and friends,

It was a great pleasure to know and work with Bob over the years. I recently saw him in Jacksonville and as always, he had the greatest spark in his eyes, and smile on his face ~ he greeted me with the usual hug and praise. He was a geneleman truly in love with life, and in love with his family and friends. You have been blessed. I will keep you all in my prayers through this difficult time, and think of you (and him) often. He truly was an angel as someone wrote. He led everyone look at the bright side, and see the best in every day and every person.

I've only had the pleasure to know Bob Lee for a little over one year. I am also a Contract Specialist at NAVFAC SE. However, in that one year he was the sunshine that warmed my day. A true Southern Gentleman, he always made me feel like a true Southern Belle. He was and still is an inspiration. I have a folder of all his email so I can look back upon his words of wisdom to guide me through my day. He will be truly missed.

Dear Lee Family,

Bob was such a special and "blessed man" who was a "true blessing" to others. Not only was I blessed in knowing him over the past years, but I can truly say that each time I spoke with him, he never failed to bless me, possibly without even knowing. His kind heart and gentle spirit will forever be remembered in those who have been blessed to call him a "friend" on this earth. May God bless each of you with comfort and strength during this time.

Dear Lee Family --
It has been an honor to call Bob "friend". I only knew Bob for a short time while at Southern Division; but Bob was the rare kind of person who made you feel like you knew him your entire life -- always a gentleman, always a sunny disposition on life. "Fair Winds and Following Seas"... he will be greatly missed.
Sincerly,
Mark Christopher

I could always count on Bob's smile, his good humor, and his positive outlook on life. He was courteous and kind, a true gentleman who loved his family deeply. Working with Bob at Southern Division and in Jacksonville was a true pleasure. I will always remember his rendition of "Tom Dooley". We shared several laughs over the song. Our deepest sympathy and prayers are sent to you for Bob. I know that this is a hard time for you and your family, I pray that God will get you through this sorrow as he put his loving arms around you to weather the storm. It was my great pleasure to have worked with Bob over the last 2 years. He always had a smile and hug for me--such a southern gentlemen. Just last week he asked me how I was doing in the aftermath of my 17 year old daughter's unexpected passing in May--it is a comfort to me to know she's watching over us with Bob. May God keep you in his care and grant you strength and faith through all the days ahead of you. Love, Dawn

I worked at NAVFAC in Charleston and even though I never worked with Bob, I did get to know him in just talking in the hallway or at a meeting we both attended. He would always ask about my children who are now 21 and 18. He would often speak of his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was one of the nicest people and always had a kind word to say to everyone. He will surely be missed by all of us who knew him.

To Family of Bob: I just want each and every one of you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you at this difficult time. I am a NAVFAC contract specialist that had the honor and privilege to work with Bob and experience the pleasure of talking to him on a personal level, getting to know him, and see what kindness is all about. His very presence and words were a comforting influence to me during some very difficult times while I was at NAVFAC undergoing the transition from Charleston to Jacksonville. I am comforted to know that, despite his passing in this life, he is with our Heavenly Father and the more I got to know Bob, the more I understood what God is all about through our Precious Savior, Jesus Christ. May God Bless you all at this time.

Barbara and family,
I feel completely honored to have worked with and been one of Bob's friends at Southern Division. In the twelve years I worked with him, I was always greeted with a "good morning" and a smile. He will be truly missed but instead of mourning him, we celebrate his life. God has called Bob home and now his membership at John Wesley United Methodist will be forwarded to Heaven where he will hear "Well done, thy good and faithful servant".

May the Lord Bless and Keep You All, Rhonda Earney
