MILLER, Mary Ann Mary Ann Black Miller peacefully passed away on July 23, 2007 around 11:30 at night after a long battle with cancer. Mary Ann is survived by her husband Allan Miller Of Black Mountain, Alice Roberson of Summerville SC and John Roberson of Chicago, IL. Mary Ann was born and raised in Kingstree SC. She graduated from Kingstree High School before attending MUSC School of Nursing. She then dedicated her life to helping cripple children while working at Crippled Children's Rehab. After 25 years of hard work and dedication she retired and moved to Black Mountain, NC where she could enjoy the rest of her life. While Mary Ann graced this world, she brought joy and laughter to everyone she met. She chose to be cremated and have her ashes scattered at Pretty Place at Camp Greenville. Where she could always roam freely across the mountains she so loved. Mary Ann will ge greatly missed as she was known by many and loved by all. Al,
your mom was the sweetest woman I've ever met. Don't think just because she is physically not with you anymore that she is gone. She is not, she's with you always and you can ALWAYS talk to her. Now she's up in heaven moo-ing and hanging out with Patsy and momma having a GRAND time! Love ya!

I miss MaryAnn so much already. She was truly a great person who never had a mean bone about her. She brought joy and love to everyone one around her. We will all cry our own selfish tears over her loss but she is in a far better place now. We love you, Mom...
