SQUILLACE, Richard The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Richard "Rico" B. "Coach" Squillace are invited to attend the funeral services of the former on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. in Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. Friends may call from the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. this evening at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Carolina Memorial Park. He was born August 25, 1951 in Hammonton, New Jersey, to the late Ralph C. Squillace and Doris Milne Squillace. Coach Squillace taught science at Goose Creek High School. He coached baseball and football for 29 years. He was a graduate of the Citadel and was a member of the Summerall Guards; played baseball with the over 30 league. He enjoyed golfing and gardening and enjoyed cooking for people. Coach Squillace was Catholic in faith. He is survived by his wife of Goose Creek, Susan Adams Squillace; one son, Nick Squillace of Cincinnati, OH; three daughters, Donna Squillace of Gainesville, FL, Angie S. Murto and her husband Billy of Charleston, SC, Deborah Squillace of Charleston, SC; one step-daughter, Liz Johnson of Goose Creek, SC; two brothers, Ralph Squillace and wife Linda of Little River, SC and Robert Squillace of Fairhope, AL; a sister, Mary Wolf and her husband Walter of Vineland, NJ. Also included are numerous nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hollings Cancer Center, 171 Ashley Ave., Charleston, SC 29425 or to Lutheran Hospice, 900 Johnnie Dodds Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
