Patricia "Penny" Starnes Springs, beloved wife, aunt, sister and friend passed away June 11, 2018.
Penny was a native Charlottean, graduating Garinger High in 1979 and had attended Queens College. Penny devoted her time to her husband and family, her many friends, her home and her pets.
Penny is survived by her devoted husband Joseph "Tony" Springs; brother and sister in law, Buddy and Cheryl Springs; brother, Thomas "Jeff" Starnes and wife Tina Starnes and her adoring bullies Roxy and Jack.
A visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Saturday June 16, 2018 at McEwen Funeral Service, Pineville Chapel.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Levine Cancer Center, Carolinas Medical Center and the Aldersgate Hospice House.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Aldersgate Hospice House in Charlotte NC.

I'm so sorry to hear of Penny's passing. I've not seen her since high school, but I remember her sweet demeanor. God bless you all with His comfort and peace . . .
