Doris Inman
September 19, 1944 - January 28, 2021
Huntersville, North Carolina - Doris Inman Long 76 of Huntersville, North Carolina peacefully transitioned from earthly life to eternal life on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center. She was born on September 19,1944 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Walter W. Inman and Mable G. Graham Whittaker. Doris was preceded by her husband Earnest Leon Long; brothers "Pete" Black and Jimmy Lee Inman; sisters Dorothy Williams and Louise Black Troy and Granddaughter Tyrena Inman.
Doris attended West Charlotte High School then moved to Northern Virginia before settling back in North Carolina. She was a dedicated member at Catawba Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be held on April 10, 2021 at 1:00 pm. At The Smithville Community Center 19412 South Hill Street, Cornelius, NC. Mask are required and social distancing is to be observed. This service will be held outside.
