Jean Penninger Wolfe, 81, of Huntersville, died on May 13, 2018. Born on July 13, 1937, she was a Charlotte native and a graduate of the North Mecklenburg class of 1955.Over the course of her life, she had a variety of work experiences including many years as a CNA. A member of First Baptist Church, Jean was a faithful devotee of Sunday school and Bible study, a woman who loved God and her church family.

Predeceased by her parents, Bill & Marjorie Penninger, siblings, Hope Crepps & Billy Penninger, and longtime, companion Earl Berry, she is survived by her nieces and nephews, Dale Crepps, Marilyn McGrady (son Josh), Beverly Penninger & Mark Penninger, grandniece Bailey and grandnephew/godson Weston.

A service in her honor will be held at James Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC on Friday, May 18 at 11am. The family will receive friends in the Community Room of James Funeral Home from 10-11 prior.
