Lee Harbin Broadway CHARLOTTE - Lee Harbin Broadway, 41, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 3, 2017, in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born April 8, 1975, in Landtuhl, Germany, the daughter of Diane Adair Dowdy and Air Force SGT Robert Woodrow Harbin. Lee spent her childhood years in Xenia, Ohio before relocating to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she resided with her husband and children for the remainder of her life. Lee attended West Charlotte High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. Soon after, Lee and her high school sweetheart, Eric, decided to start their family. On December 19, 1998, Lee and Eric Broadway were united in marriage. Throughout her life, Lee excelled at every job she held, but she always prided herself as being an amazing mother and wife first and foremost. She is survived by her husband Eric L. Broadway of Charlotte; five children, Brittany Fulwiley, Adair Broadway, Averi Broadway, Alex Olivia Broadway, Adrien Broadway; her mother, Diane Dowdy of Xenia; and her stepfather, Carlton Webb Dowdy. Lee also leaves behind her aunts and uncles, along with her cousins, who were more like her siblings. Lee was a devoted mother and wife who loved spending time with her family, friends, and dog (Anderson Pooper). She will be remembered as someone who loved life and all it had to offer. She made the world a better place simply because she was there and everybody's life that touched Lee's became significantly brighter. Lee's legacy lives on through her family, friends, and the individuals who she was able to save through her death through the gift of organ donation. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Harbin. Services in celebration of Lee's life will be held Tuesday, April, 11, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. at Resurrection Church on Commonwealth Avenue.
