Lindon Outten Alexander, Jr., died May 13, 2018 at Sharon Towers where he resided.

Lin was born December 30, 1928 in Portsmouth, VA, son of Dr. & Mrs. Lindon O. Alexander, Sr.

He was a graduate of Christ Church Episcopal School and held an Associate Degree from Richmond University, now known as Virginia Commonwealth University.

Lin was a U. S. Navy Veteran in Korea who enjoyed anything to do with water. Case in point - he was an avid sailor, sailing anywhere there was water, from British Virgin Islands to Lake Norman.

Lin is survived by his wife, Alyne Keller Alexander, son Clay Alexander and wife Diane, and granddaughter, Katie of Clover, SC.

A visitation service to celebrate Lin's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Harris Towne Center at Sharon Towers, 5100 Sharon Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210. Memorials may be made to Sharon Towers.
