Nancy, 69, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, with her family beside her and in the devoted care of Levine & Dickson Hospice at Aldersgate.

The daughter of the late Edward Jefferson Gravely and Margaret Elizabeth McCoy Gravely, Nancy was born January 3, 1949 in Charlotte. She attended Myers Park High School and completed her undergraduate studies at UNCC where she achieved the honor of Summa Cum Laude.

Nancy was known as GG by her family, which stands for "Gorgeous Grandmother." She is remembered for a mischievous sense of humor, a strong compassion for those unable to stand up for themselves, and a fierce love for and loyalty to her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Oren Amos Biggers; her sons, Oren E. Biggers and wife Miranda, Brant Biggers and wife Anne; and her adoring grandchildren, Lizzy, Ellis, Margaret, and EJ Biggers. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy Gravely (who passed away as an infant) and James William Gravely.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15 at Myers Park Baptist Church, located at 1900 Queens Rd., Charlotte, NC. The Biggers family will receive friends at the church, following the service.
