Dear Alice, Robbie and the entire Reiser Family.

I was saddened to learn of John's illness and subsequent death. I was fortunate to work with both John and Robbie when I did Public Relations at Slinger Speedway. What I remember most about John and Robbie was the organized and well planned way they raced, this taught many others to be winners. It was also clear John cared very deeply about people and shared a smile or a simple "hi." I am truly privileged to have had both John and Robbie as colleagues. John was able to see promise and I will always think of his positive outlook and the kindness he showed to both the racing world and to everyone.

Dear Alice, Robbie and Tracy:

I too am very saddened by the passing of John. The evenings we spent in the discussing the old dirt track days when Alice was bowling are dear to me. I am sure he will continue watching from his spot in the turn 4 bleachers.

I watched you, as a child growing up, racing and you have instilled in my heart and my family the love of racing. We had some great times living next to you and your family. Some things will remain unsaid...Robbie, we still have pictures. Your legend will live on and God will take care of you and your family always. Sunday is not only for religion and family but a combination of both lovingly watching NASCAR. We'll miss you John.

To John Rieser's Family and Friends;
I know the last month's have been long and painful for all of you. Through the heart breaking lost of losing John there must be some small bit of relief to know he is no longer in pain and suffering in that terrible illness. I am honored to hold the postion I do with your family business. Yes, John will be missed and a large void will be there that will never be filled, but we have all gain much knowledge and strength from him and with that we will go on. Till that day comes when we meet with him agian. God Bless you all in your time of sorrow.

Our thoughts have been with the Reiser family this past week. I must say Robbie, when you took the time to stop and talk with my wife and I on the street at Roush Racing this past July during your busy schedule we were impressed and appreciative. But when you talked about racing with your Dad on occassion over here in Dubuque, IA we were even more appreciative that you shared something about yourself and your family and how much that had meant to you. We'll be cheering for the 17 team and we'll be proud as ever of your Wisconsin connection.

Alice and family,
Although I was extremely saddened to learn of John's passing, I also remembered why he has stuck with me all these years. As a former employee, and at one time, the entire second shift @ Triton, I never knew when John would come in and shut off my welder, and pull me into his office. He started with the random selection of warm beer rolling around in the bottom drawer, and we would discuss any topic that was bouncing around his mind at the time! Those are my favorite memories of John.
I thank you for allowing me into your lives, and John will remain in my memory for my lifetime!
