Angela Lynn Landreth
Angela Landreth of Charlotte passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at her home after a long fight with ovarian cancer. Born October 25, 1961, Angela had a loving soul and touched the lives of all those she met. Creative, beautiful, strong, and smart, she was a loving mother, daughter, and sister.
She lives on within her survivors, which include her mother, Joyce Ann Rawls, her sister, Devi Diana Hunter, and her daughter, Shelby Anne Short.
Her service will be held Saturday, March 19th at 2:00 pm at the Serenity Church on South Tryon.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Gilda Radner Foundation.
J.B. Tallent Funeral Service is assisting the family.

Sister In Life And Beyond

My sister Angela was a funny, sweet, amazing woman. She taught me so many wonderful things about life and living. Because of her love and guidence through the years I now know patiance, kindness, forgiveness and love without conditions. As I got older and learned that family is the greatest of gifts, she became my best friend in the world. We had no secrets. We laughed , cried, sang (in the car with the windows up) and fought each other & outsiders together. But most of all, we loved and adored each other. For 46 years I knew and loved this woman on earth. I cannot wait until the time that I, too, am called home to my savior and I can be with my sister, and all the ones who went before me, for eternity.

Dear, Sweet Sissy,

I love you Angela. Your blood is my blood. As long as you are in my heart and I tell the stories about you, you will live forever.

Shelby,
I just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time of your life. I just found out about your mother the other day and was saddened to hear the news. Momma and Daddy loved you and your Mother so very much. Please know that our whole family (the Berry family) is lifting you and your Grandmother up in our prayers.

Joyce,
Your accomplishments and the example you have set in spite of adversity have left a remarkable impression on all who have had the pleasure of knowing you. These could have only been equaled by you having blessed us with your daughter, Angela.
Knowing Angela was to have known a loving, caring, and giving daughter, mother, sister and friend who was also a very intelligent, highly motivated and respected businesswoman. Her convictions and beliefs never overshadowed her honestly listening to, and reaching out to others.
Truly a rare and refreshing trait these days.
One can only believe her Higher Power had some very 'special shoes' that needed to be filled to take her away from us at such an early age.
Like her mom, Angela blessed us with a very exceptional daughter. Shelby dear, as always, we are here for you.. whenever or whatever.
Though your mom is no longer physically with us she lives on in you and through all she touched.

My Dearest Angela.......Such a beautiful spirit and beautiful person! I was lucky to have her as a dear friend since the early 90's. We were great friends, we were best friends, we were "kindred spirits". There could never be another Angela. The most loving and giving soul. So enriched by life and who enriched other peoples lives. Leaves behind such inspiratiion and wonderful memories that will be deeply missed but never fogotten.
