Paul, Mark, Peter...Please accept our condolences for the loss of your Dad. Pequabuck lost another legend! 'Sr' was a big part of a bunch of kids growing up at the club and learning valuable life lessons from playing golf matches with the older guys.Whether it was a golf tip on the practice green, strategy in a golf match, respect for the course and club and above all manners, your Dad was always there to offer us 'kids' his advice.
So I'll never forget the smile, the black cap, white belt, white loafers, state of the art at the time black graphite shaft in a persimmon head, hitting the big fade off the first tee and the cool walk going down the first fairway!

God bless all The Tonon Family.

Paul, Mark, and Peter I recently heard of the passing of your beloved father. I am in FL but I wanted to reach out to all of you, and tell you your dad was a great guy who I always enjoyed talking to and laughing with. We always compared our "hot peppers" stories, and met every Sunday at St. Anthony's! He was a true gentleman and will surely be missed. Please extend my deepest condolences to your mother.

Dear Phyllis and family,
So very sad to hear about your loss. We can't even begin to relate all the happy memories we have of you and Paul. His smile always lit up the room and his kindness and generosity were endless. We didn't know that you were in Charlotte, but hope you enjoyed many wonderful days there. I always remember we had the same birthday and celebrated it for many years. May God bless you and keep you in his care as you go through this difficult time. I hope that it will help knowing that others care and share your sorrow.

Uncle Paulie was a wonderful man. He lived his life with love and laughter. The last time that I saw him was at Auntie Theresa's where he was playing bridge. His smile lit up the room. Thinking of you all.

My Deepest sympathy

February 10, 2015

We love you Pop Tonon. Thank you for the gift of family, faith and humility that gave to all of us. We all loved how you brought us together for many of special gatherings at the table with your delicious food. I personally will treasure the walks we took in the neighborhood and the putting lessons you liked to give me. The best gift you gave me however is your son, a true reflection of his daddy. I love you Pop Tonon!
