John Edward "Jack" Lockey(1927 - 2018)

John "Jack" Edward Lockey 90, formerly of Saginaw, Mich., passed away
on May 5, 2018. Jack was born on Nov. 15, 1927 in Mackinaw City, Mich., the son of Herman and Estelle (Herron) Lockey. He graduated from Cheboygan High School and has resided in Kissimmee, Fla. for the last 28 years. Jack was a war veteran of the Korean War and WWII where he served from 1945 to 1952 on the USS Quick.
He was employed at General Motors for 24 years. Jack was strong in his Catholic faith. Jack is survived by his sister Margaret Becker, Therese Lockey, the mother of his children; his children: Steve Lockey of Bay City, Mich., Greg (Deb) Lockey of Ocoee, Fla., Mark (Helle) Lockey of Denmark, Anne Samuels - Slidell of Louisiana, Joe (Liz) Lockey of Orlando, Fla., Mary (Tony) Laton of Concord, Calif., Charles (Keri) Lockey of St. Cloud, Fla. and Tish (Jerry)
Maestaz of Birch Run, Mich.. Grandchildren Maggie, Erin, Rachelle (Michael), Nicole (Andrew), Jennifer, Hannah, Maja, Klara, Kristine, Kari (Lance), Zachary, Monica, Samantha, Andrew (Rochelle), Sarah, Emily, Gavin, Nicholas & Kayla and 18 great-grandchildren, extended family and his wonderfully supportive friend, Eva.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Richard Lockey and James Lockey, sisters Katherine Socha and Janice Wagner, and his son Jeffrey D. Lockey.
Jack was truly loved by his family and they feel blessed to have had so many
years with him. He enjoyed going for walks, CNN and spending time with his family.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Osceola Memory Gardens, Poinciana Chapel, 3175 Pleasant Hill Rd, Poinciana, FL 34746. Burial will immediately follow at Osceola Memorial Gardens in Kissimmee, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Rd., Kissimmee, FL 34744.
