To the Mulroe Family:
In my recent visit to Chicago, I sadly learned of your father's passing, my deepest condolences to your families. Your father was a great guy and I enjoyed every meeting we had, usually at St. Pat's. He was rich in character and integrity, these values are the most revered. You are all in our prayers.

At the wake of a dear friend, Red Smith, the sports writer said "Dying is no big deal. The least among us will accomplish that. Living is the trick!" We can rest assured that Thomas Mulroe Knew the trick.

Fred and I heard about the passing of your father late last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family today during this very difficult time. The hurt runs deep when you lose a loved one, but it's reassuring to know that he is not suffering anymore and "pain free".

I remember talking to Mr. Mulroe about football.. He kept talking about all the pints the Bears had. I finally got it. Do you mean "points"? We laughed our heads off. To Mrs. Mulroe and the entire family: My heartfelt sympathy. He was one of a kind and definitely someone to aspire to...

I am so sad to now again lose someone so special. From the time I was a young girl I always remember my mom's cousin Tom as one of my most favorite people. Such a warm, loving, thoughtful and fun person. I am so glad that I was able to visit with him at Mary's party! God love and God Bless.

Uncle Tom was a very special person. Not just to me but to my Mother Anne, Tom was a favourite brother and a friend to her. To my children, Great Uncle Tom was this crazy Irishman who made them laugh and smile. He had that effect on me also. He will be greatly missed, a very special person with a love of life and people. The condolences of the whole family both in England and Ireland to Auntie Mary and all the Mulroe's in Chicago. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
