"Aunt Lucille" was a tremendous influence in my childhood, a model and thoughtful leader to me. I am grateful for all she gave and taught me. What a life of impact and legacy she has left. I thank God for her shining light and know that in the next realm she is bringing new meaning to the word "ancestress." Ase.

I met Ms. Loman many years ago at Operation PUSH, she was my supervisor, counselor, and teacher. Shared so much with me and countless others. Will miss her more than words can say. Will cherish the loving memories forever.

I remember "Aunt Lucille" fondly in my youth. Her sister Lela Lavender was a friend to my mother back in the day. My condolences to her family.

I am so sorry for your lost. Ms. Lucille Loman left many good memories for the family to cherish and be comforted by. May you also find comfort in the God of all comfort because he cares for you. 1Peter 5:6-7

I'll not ever forget the insightful testimony and sage advice of Mrs.Loman during an evening service shortly after I joined Fellowship many years ago via (a sanctified) song [Take The Lord, Alone With You] she had apparently lead during the earlier years of the church's existence. I can recall she had taken me by surprise; I had no idea she could sing and had once sung in the choir during the earlier days. As a Christian Educator, she shared some of her experiences as a Fellowship Comrade, Comptroller and her life involvement with the Jesse Jackson's Operation Push. She impressed me as an uninhibited God fearing woman of substance & grandeur; who was neither shy nor afraid to voice her convictions, opinions & thoughts.
In retrospect, the Ship was indeed an enlightening, edifying, nurturing & empowering institution who has helped to shape and form my Christian growth & development paradigm. Mrs. Loman contribution towards the same does not go unappreciated. To those who are affected by the mournful impact of her transition my sincere condolences.
Surely, God is able and will not fail to see us thru! Ache' (and so it is!)
