Kenneth Baker(1931 - 2013)

photoKen Baker 12-23-31 to 12-15-13 Born in Chicago. City of Chicago horseshoe champ at age 14. In 1949, part of the Austin High School football team that played at Soldier Field for City Championship in front of 100,000 people. Served in the Army and selected for travelling baseball team for troop entertainment in Germany. Business Degree at Elmhurst College, MBA University of Chicago. Member Economics Club of Chicago, Treasurer BBB of Chicago. Former VP of Finance, Ryerson Steel. In 1969, started Comsi, Inc. - a computer software and services company. Coached little league football and baseball. Enjoyed golf, sailing, skiing, summers in Twin Lakes, and watching grandkids' sports. Lived in Elmhurst for 50 years. Enjoyed 59 years of marriage to his college sweetheart Dawn (Emde). Survived by his wife Dawn, sons David (Debbie) & Steve (Jennifer), daughter Laura (Walter) Freihofer, and 9 grandchildren.
