From our family with love. The Careys

What do you say about someone who was like soft beautiful sunshine in a thousand different ways? Mrs. Nordine was such a wonderful, supportive, caring person and I was lucky to know her and bask from time to time in her warm fireplace glow for over thirty years. She was a spectacular dancing light in a forest and a magical companion for her husband, Ken, for over seventy years, and I always felt like I was fortunate to be near that full, rainbow-like love on occasions such as Ken's big birthday bashes and visits to their marvelous house, as well as in the cards and notes that she would send in response to our own Christmas card mailings each year. But, most of all, our children enjoyed the large chocolate Santas she and Ken would send out to them each year like a special secret gift-in-a-mysterious-box that would continually surprise and delight. Beryl was so thoughtful, kind and full of love that her presence will be felt and remembered by all those who encountered this wondrous, marvelous lady and I know she's up now in a cloudless blue sky, gazing down on all the fields of flowering love she left behind for everyone down below to savor, see and enjoy.
With love,

My dear, dear friend, loveliest of ladies and special, special person will be missed by countless people. Her talents in so many, many directions were absolutely amazing. Her wonderful and loving smile each day and evening will never be forgotten. My love, blessings, prayers and deepest sympathies are with all her devoted family. God Bless you all, Alice Pirie Wirtz
