Captain James Russell Anderberg, age 53 formerly of Westchester, suddenly on September 5, 2015 in Elk Grove Village, IL. Beloved son of Russell and Lorraine Anderberg of Summerfield, FL and Huntley, IL; loving father of Erin (Eric) Jackson and Patrick, Ellen and Isabella Anderberg; proud grandfather of Sean Matthew Jackson; dearest brother of Cheryl (Chris) Catalano and John and Sandra Anderberg; fond uncle of many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim will be missed by his crews at Spirit Airlines. Jim was a proud member of Spirit Airlines which was a second career that he embarked on 18 years ago. Previously he was president of Mercury Press, Inc., Forest Park, IL. He was a graduate of Oak Park/River Forest HS and Providence College, Providence, RI class of 1984. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester (2 blks West of Mannheim Rd.) on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 4 to 8pm. Funeral Monday 9:30am from the funeral home to Divine Providence Church for Mass of the Resurrection 10am. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Christ the King Mausoleum. I flew with Jim only a few times, but that was enough to know what a kind gentleman he truly was. I enjoyed flying with him, and will miss him.
