My name is Amanda and my dad Andy as he went by use to work for Addantes for over a decade back in the late 80's until the late 90's. My daddy later passed in 2006 from liver failure. He enjoyed Addante's Florist and working for him. I use to visit the shop when I was a kid looking for my dad and let me tell you how Addantes florist was home for me away from home. Traveling from the North side of Chicago to Division and Pulaski was an adventure just because I adored watching Wild and Jim get to work. Although I never got to tell Mr. Addante thank you for always taking care of my dad and giving me the comfort away from home (in a floral shop), I would like to tell his family what an amazing man he was away from home, he truly was a special man that I will never forget, as this is why went looking for him after he closed but could never find him, until now...~ I am deeply sorry for your family's loss. Sending Condolences.

I knew Michael, through hockey in PR.
I coached his son Mike, he would attend all of the games no matter what hour of the day. He was very strict about sportsmanship while playing
the game. He was a gentleman. We clicked as parents of our kids.
May he rest peacefully in the generous hands of Jesus in paradise.
I. Can still see his floral creations.
