Joseph Cavolick Obituary
Cavolick, Joseph Daniel 70, longtime resident of Northbrook, passed away August 18, 2014. Cherished son of Rose and the late Stanley Cavolick; loving father of Steve (Marybeth) and Kristin Cavolick; proud grandfather of Meghan Cavolick; fond brother of Carl (Carole Ann) Cavolick and Carole (the late Ted) Axtell; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews; beloved longtime companion of Ana Eng, MD. Joe was a 1966 graduate of The United States Military Academy at West Point and received his Master's Degree in 2002 from Northwestern University. He was an Army Officer from 1966-71 and served in combat in Vietnam. He was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart and the Army Commendation Medal. Joe was also a member of many service organizations including the Northbrook Rotary Club, West Point Society and was past President of the North Shore Board of Realtors. He was owner of Cavolick Consulting Group and a partner in Kahn Realty. Visitation was held Thursday, August 21 at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, Glenview. Funeral mass was held Friday, August 22 at Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Techny Towers, Techny. Interment will be held at a later date at the USMA Cemetery, West Point, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the International Myeloma Foundation, 12650 Riverside Drive, Suite 206, North Hollywood, CA 91607 or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
