To the Oosterbaan Family,
My deepest sympathies to you all. I was surprised to read of Karen's passing. I attended grade school and high school with Karen. I will always remember her as the ONE person who I was taller than when we had our "line ups" back at I.J.P. I was quite small back in the day and was always first in line until Karen came to school. She always made me laugh because she beat me!
Sorry to hear of your loss and my prayers go out to you. Karen is surely in the arms of our Saviour!
Sincerely,

Sheila Houlihan Daily

Dear Oosterbaans,
I'm so sorry to hear about Karen from her cousin and my friend, Melissa King. Back in Roseland, it was always heartwarming for me to see how warm, considerate and caring all her siblings were with Karen on those "cheery" mornings on the bus to St. Willy's! I have such fond memories of the whole family. Peace and blessings to Noreen, Marybeth, Janice and all ...

To the Oosterbaan Family,
Karen was the shining star on a Christmas tree or should we say Angel. She will be your Angel in heaven watching over all of you. Her suffering is over and I hope that your family can push away those bad memories and replace them with the days when Karen was just her wonderful healthy self. She was an inspiration to all of us.
With our love and sympathy,
Pete and Joanne Coleman

Karen cared about those less fortunate. I worked with her at Thornton Hts. Terrace
for 8 years. Karen was excellent at her job and no one could find a more caring
social worker. She will be missed as a friend and certainly at her job which she did so very well.

I am so sorry for your loss, but it is very conforting to know that at Revelation 21:4 it says that he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Once again I am so sorry for your loss and my heart is with you in your time of greif.

To the Family of Karen Oosterbaan,

I am so sorry for your loss. Karen was my age which means she was still young. I'm sure she was a wonderful mother and friend. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. God promises to resurrect all those in his memory. One day you may see Karen right here on earth in good health. Again, I am sorry for your loss.
