Walter, I was at the 8:30 Mass at St Roberts on Saturday and I looked to where you normally sat. I really miss seeing you. You were always there. You were such a wonderful friend and neighbor. You helped me find a roofer when I went to your house with my three estimates and couldn't make a decision. You gave me the name of your roofer who did a wonderful job. When I was transferred to a regular room after my by-pass surgery, I was surprised to see flowers from you. What a pick-me up!

You are missed.

Walt came back into our lives when we were planning our 50th reunion from St. Gregory High School. But for the reunion we would not have know him and enjoyed his wonderful wit. He will be missed.

Remembering Wally.
I knew Wally for many, many years. When we were babies we lived in the same apartment building and later I would see him through the years at his cousin's house for numerous birthday parties. He was always a kind gentlemanly like person with a great sense of humor. I know his family will miss him very much and they have my deepest sympathy. I was very saddened to hear of his passing away.

Walter,

You will be missed. You and I started in the area of family law about the same time and "grew up" together learning the ropes.

It with with great sadness to have to say good-bye. May your days in eternity be wonderful.

Your buddy,

Carl Marcyan

Wally
We already miss you so much it is beyond words, this time of year was when we started our nightly converstations in the yard or the front. You were the best neighbor we could have ever imagined having and a great friend as well. Never in 25 years did you complain about my 5 kids and their noise and playing, and more recently all my grandchildren. You took the time to know them all by name and they all looked up to you, with good reason. You were one of the kindest men I have ever known and it was a privilege and an honor to consider you "my friend" You helped my daughter with one of the toughest times of her life and made it good again, we will be forever grateful. Your laugh, your cigars, your companionship will be missed forever, say hi to all our friends and relatives in your new home, until we meet again, God bless you!

To my great friend Wally, I will miss you forever, everytime we are in the back yard in the pool I will always think of you and the way you always respectfully denied my request to come swim in the pool with us! I would also like to thank you for the many life choices you helped me with, without your advice I dont think I'd be where I am today. The neighborhood will never be the same. Thank you!!!!!!!!!
Your friend

Walter was not only a tall person, but he was a mountain in stature. From our days in high school together (my chemistry lab partner),our days at Arthur Andersen together and our dinners together with our high school buddies on at least an annual basis whenever I visited Chicago, he was a joy to behold. He was always kind, happy and sarcastic in a charming way. He would consistently enliven our Christmas open house when we lived in Chicago with his marvelous political observations. He could make me laugh and feel good whatever my mood. It is my belief that Walter never intentionally hurt a person during his entire life; it was just not in his nature.
From all us "little people" you will be missed dearly "Big Guy". You were a wonderful friend and a great person. I know where you are now and that you are watching over us. You will always be in my prayers. Please remember me as well.

Sincerely,

Joe Villinski

Uncle Walt, you will be missed dearly by all who knew you. For me, you meant the world. You were my godfather, my mentor and my friend. You were there for every major moment in my life. You were there for all of us. Your presence always brought so much life to every family gathering. I will do everything I can to continue to live my life in a way that honors you and the faith you always showed in me. You were the ultimate role model, one of the best men I've ever known. I will miss our days at the track, your laugh, the big bear hugs you gave me whether I was 5 or 25, your intellect and, most of all, the sense I always had that you loved me completely. I can only hope to offer the same gift of love to Evan and Nora as we all now take up the challenge of making sure your generous spirit lives on through us and is shared with others. You lived for others, especially your family. Your legacy makes me so proud. I love you!
