Ioanna Jane Stavrianos, nee Arvanetes, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on March 19, 2012. Born on July 15, 1929 in Thoknia, Megalopoleos, Greece, to Amalia and the late Demetrios Arvanetes. Jane lived her life with class, courage and dignity. Her memory will be cherished by her husband of 51 years, Theofilos; and their children, Angie (Lance) Catania and Demetrios (Tiffany); proud yiayia of Aris and Gianna; loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, March 21, from 4 to 9 p.m., with the Trisagion Service at 6:15 p.m., at the Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge. Funeral Thursday, 9:45 a.m. Friends and Family to meet at SS. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 S. Roberts Rd., Palos Hills. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Orrico Kourelis Funeral Services Inc., Directing. MAY HER MEMORY BE ETERNAL. In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to SS. Constantine & Helen Church. For information please call 708-422-2700.

I just heard today of Ioanna's passing. She always had a positive attitude and was an inspiration to me. May her memory be eternal! I will miss her smiling face.
