icon William J. "Bill" Tragos, U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of Patricia nee Bakakos. Loving father of James (Samantha) Tragos, Anna (Rick) Krumtinger and Peter (Karen) Tragos. Proud Papou of Alexa and Sophia Tragos, Michael and Lee Krumtinger, and Isabel, Olivia, Fiona and the late William Tragos. Devoted son of the late James and Anna Tragos. Dear brother-in-law of the late Judge Peter (the late Kiki) Bakakos, Edna Bakakos and the late Ted (Georgia) Bakakos. Fond uncle, cousin and friend of many. Bill was a proud graduate of Roosevelt Military Academy in Aledo, IL- Class of '51, a member of American Legion Hellenic Post #343, Master Mason Hellenic Masonic Lodge No. 1084 A.F. & A.M., former secretary and member of St. John's Mens Club and member of the Golden Agers. Visitation Sunday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Family and friends will meet Monday morning at St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church 2350 E. Dempster St. (at I-294) Des Plaines, IL 60016 for funeral service at 10:00am.
