(Carin) Smith & Mara (Jeff) Jost. Cherished grandfather of Colin, Shannon, Kathleen, Brendan & Linnea. Dear brother of Patricia (the late James) Reddington, Terrence & the late B. Thomas Smith. Brother-in-law of the late James (the late Ellen) Williams. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Visitation Monday 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge. Funeral Services begin Tuesday 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Paul of the Cross Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Final resting place All Saints Cemetery. William received the Whitman Award for Excellence in Education Management & The Borg-Warner Outstanding Leadership Award. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Ronald McDonald House. I extend mt condolences to the family of Bill Smith. I was a classmate of Bill at St. Tim's and have great memories of him. He was so friendly and good to everyone. I am happy to know that he was, as an educator, instrumental in helping others in his chosen career.

We are so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a very funny guy and my dad's BFF. I have many fond memories of him and my dad guffawing at every little thing, fun family get-togethers, and of those legendary St. Patrick's Day soireés. The good thing, if there is one, is that he is now reunited with Jack in the big chillout castle of the sky. Peace and love to your family.
