Jane Moeller

1921 - 2014

Jane Moeller (nee Harriet Jane Weller December 10th, 1921) passed away peacefully on March 7th. Jane grew up in Mt. Morris IL and came to Chicago after high school. Here she met Kenneth W. Moeller whom she married in 1947. She and Ken moved to Hinsdale, IL in 1951 where they raised their family and lived the remainder of their lives. Jane was a consummate homemaker, wife and mother and a good citizen as well. She was active in the Girl Scouts and D.A.R., and she spent many years serving her church, the Union Church of Hinsdale. Jane was a keen athlete, perhaps best known for having two holes-in-one in a single round of play at the Hinsdale Golf Club in 1992. She was also an avid bridge player. Jane is survived by her daughter, Michele Moeller Chandler, her son-in-law Chip Chandler and her two grandchildren, Matthew Moeller Chandler and Kelsey Hope Chandler. Jane was preceded in death by her husband Ken and her daughter Patricia Lynn. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, May 15th at the Union Church of Hinsdale at 2:00 PM in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Union Church of Hinsdale at 137 S. Garfield Avenue, Hinsdale, IL 60521 or to the King-Bruwaert Memorial Fund at 6101 S.
