I just learned of Peter's death. I am so sad. While we only worked together for a few years at EY, he was one of the best people I ever worked with. Our condolences to all of his family. We are sure that he will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathy to the Santori family. Pete and I were partners from the same class at Ernst & Young, 1989. My wife and I truly enjoyed our weekend with Pete and Sheila in Dallas at the new partner's meeting. Pete was a warm and thoughtful partner ... I looked forward to spending time with him at various firm meetings and functions. He will be missed.

Pater Santori hired me into a tiny consulting practice at Ernst & Whinney many, many years ago. He took a huge chance on me and was a mentor to me for years. He was always professional, always kind and always willing to help. He was truly a great man and I was blessed to know him.

I was very fortunate to work with Peter at Ernst & Young. I am proud to have been his Partner. Peter was one of the go to guys as he would readily volunteer for all of the extra-curricular projects, especially when it served EY people. I will fondly remember him for his compassion and support. Our thoughts and prayers to the extended Santori family.

Pete and I worked side by side on virtually a daily basis for 20 years. We started the activity based cost practice and middle market practice together.we travelled countless miles and served clients across the country, he was my closest friend at EY. Over the years we formed quite a team: I'd tell the client anything they wanted to hear to sell the work and Pete delivered the goods. More than once after a sale, Pete would say" Mack , you know we've never done this before". I'd look at Pete and say" " I know that, you know that , but they have no idea! You'll figure it out Pete! He always did- he was the smartest accountant I have ever known. He mentored countless future Partners!
He was smart, funny and clearly the brains of the operation. He was also the best Partner I have ever had- I think of him every day . He was one of the men I have ever known- I will miss him greatly! Mack

Santori families - As a young consultant at E&Y I learned a great deal from Peter. He challenged me to be the best and do the best. I am forever grateful for his authentic leadership, his guidance, his wisdom, and the example he set for me and others. His positive influence lives on. May the Lord grant him light, happiness, and peace in heaven. God bless your family.

Every year, Pete would proudly show me your latest school photo, Dan. For a gentleman who didn't always say much, I'm pretty sure he was waiting for me to get into the office, just to show you off. I can still picture you at age four,.
Your Dad did so much for me. Over our last few conversations I was able to remind him of a couple of those moments... 20+ years later, he still meant that much to me. In his last email, he sent me a picture of your daughter. I imagined that pride on his face again.
I loved his laugh, and will never forget him.
My warmest and deepest condolences for you and your family.

Very sad. I was so looking forward to getting reacquainted with Pete (and Sheila - I didn't know) at an upcoming high school reunion. Too soon, my friends, too soon. Sincere condolences to the families.
