I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Meg. She was such a fun and wonderful friend to me during our time at St. Anne's. Her wonderful sense of humor and kind heart was very special to all of her friends during those years. Her laughter was contagious just like her smile. The whole family lit up the school with their smile and laughter and she was the shining star. She will be missed I'm sure and I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Meg was one of my best friends in grade school. I have so many wonderful memories of her sweet and lively presence, swimming with her at her parents' home in Barrington, her wonderfully contagious laugh. My heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with her family.

We are heartbroken about the loss of Meghan and her all-too-brief life. To me, she'll always be the cool mom at St. Ben's with the beautiful long hair, big smile, skinny jeans, and knee-high boots ready for a night out at Auggie's. To Geo and Rachel, she'll be the warmest, most fun after-school babysitter when she and Eileen would hang with them. To Paul, she'll be a cherished and much-loved friend and little sister. She never complained about the hardships she endured, she always had a smile on her face, and her eyes glowed with fun and the occasional mischief :) But most of all, we'll think of how much she loved Eileen with all her heart. We were so honored to be part of Meghan's life, and we will always be there for Eileen.

Eileen, Michelle and Kevin, and the whole family,
Sweet Meg was a treasure - an Irish gem. I will always remember her with a big smile, her beautiful blue eyes BRIGHT with anticipation! She was so very brave. I cherish that in her. She absolutely loved being a mother first, exploring and enjoying all the challenges and mystery of parenting - seeing them as "adorable" moments. She savored even the littlest moments most of us let slip by. She loved her family and was so proud of them all. She enjoyed telling stories and laughing at life! She gave of her time and talents and had such a positive impact on the St Bens school and community. She was a trusted friend all could rely on - always so thoughtful, giving without question. She had so much joy in her spirit - that was always there! She will be sorely sorely missed. We are praying for you all. Anne Connolly Rief and Family
