The world has lost a great Biblical scholar. I was privileged to sit in one of his classes at Hope of Israel Congregation in Charlotte. He imparted that which is eternal - the Word of G-d.

I wish to extend my condolences to the family of Dr. Goldberg. I am praying that the L-rd to bring you comfort at this time. Psalm 116:15 says, "Precious in the sight of the L-rd is the death of His godly ones." Truly, Louis Goldberg was one of His godly ones.
The L-rd blessed me with the opportunity to get to know Dr. Goldberg in his role as an elder at Hope of Israel Congregation in Charlotte. I was also privileged to learn from his book on Proverbs. My family and I will miss him.

Dear Friends,
Dr. Goldberg was a very special man who surrendered himself for the cause of Christ. I have fond memories of him as he tutored me while taking his Philospohy class at MBI. He took the time to make the material accessible and understandable. I will always be indebted to him for his care and guidance.
In Christ's love,
Pastor Richard Abernathy

G-d always uses the unexpected and unassuming to get His most powerful messages to this fallen world. I thank Him for chosing you and I thank you for being His willing vessel. Since the first time I attended your Shabbat School class I have pursued my study of His Word with your contagious passion. I will miss you terribly but I am also happy for you because you are with our Messiah. My love and prayers to your family. Raine Cole
