MALCOLM BAKER A funeral service will be held for Malcolm Cline Baker, 78 of Biggs, on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the L.D.S. Gridley First Ward on Spruce St. Malcolm passed away at his home on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was born on November 14, 1934 to Marion and Bessie Baker in Phoenix, AZ. His family moved to the Gridley area in 1937. As a young man he worked in construction. In 1959 he married Lily Borrowman in Reno, NV. Malcolm was a bee keeper for 50 years in the Gridley area. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Malcolm enjoyed going to car shows, swap meets and visiting with people. His survivors include his wife Lily of Biggs; one daughter, Shelly Baker of Palermo; one son, Steven (Peggy) of Biggs; two brothers, Robert (Lynn) of Biggs, Victor (Jean) of Gridley; Nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Malcolm was preceded in death by his daughter Christine Sears in 2012. Arrangements are under the direction of the Affordable Mortuary.

Baker family we have lost yet another good man. So sorry for your loss from Bill & Betty Samprucci, Evangeline Smith. Always remember him for rescuing us from the bee swarm we had one year and his friendship with my parents Henry & Evangeline Smith.
