Their final resting place will be "The Veteran's Cemetery" in Dixon, CA with no formal ceremony.

George was born to James Arthur and Susie (Mansker) Simpson in Tahama, OK. He joined the U.S. Navy Dec 1934 and was honorably discharged Dec. 1940 as a Radioman 1st Class. He received a service bar in Vietnam. Jan. 1955 he became a certified Chiropractor. July 1965-Aug. 1973, he sailed on the SS Penn with Merchant Marines. In 1929 he married Stella Jewell Skaggs in Stigler, OK and together they had five children.

Beverly Elsa Berner was born in Baltimore, MD. They moved to Los Angeles, CA where she and her two brothers were raised. After graduating, Beverly moved San Francisco, CA where she and George met while working at a local radio station. They were married June 12, 1947 in S.F., CA and lived there many years. Mid 60's they hung their hats in Palermo, CA where they raised their two daughters. George set up his chiropractic business and Beverly was a Legal Secretary.

George will be remembered for his chiropractic ethics. Beverly was a blessing to the community and will be remembered for her service to the Lord.

George and Beverly are preceded in death by sons, Jack Simpson, Les Simpson, George Simpson and daughter Sandra VanWagner. Survivors are: son Henry G. (Joal) Simpson, daughters, Linda (Loran) Greer and Gitta Fonteyn; daughters-in-law Merna, Donna and Andrea; 28 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
