BYRON JOSEPH MOSER Byron Joseph Moser came to rest on Februrary 16, 2013 at the age of 95. Byron was born on March 25, 1917 in Knight's Landing, Colusa County, California, to Joseph and Lillian Moser. He was raised in Grimes, California. He married Iris Euleene Golden on July 20, 1937. July 20, 2012, Joe and Euleene celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary through their church, Butte Bible Fellowship. Joe enjoyed shooting, hunting, fishing and camping throughout their marriage. He owned a business in automobile repair as Moser's Truck and Auto Service for 30 years. Joe was a strong supporter of the National Rifle Association. He, together with his wife Euleene, was a member of Butte Bible Fellowship church. He became a Christian at the age of 86, and was one of the first people baptized in the church since its founding. Family meant so much to Joe. His favorite activity was getting together with family. Joe is survived by his wife, Euleene of Chico; his sons Byron Dale Moser and wife LaVonne of Placerville; Lester Leroy Moser and wife Nancy of Eugene, Oregon and, Warren Dennis Moser and wife Teresa of Chico. He leaves behind six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on March 2, 2013 at Grand Island Cemetery at Grimes, California. Following this there will be a celebration service at 2:00 p.m. at Butte Bible Fellowship at 2255 Pillsbury Road, Chico. Memorial gifts given in Joe's memory can be given to Butte Bible Fellowship.
