DALE A. HUBLER 04/21/1941-11/14/2017 Dale was born in Albany, Oregon to Charles W. and Ann (Pratt) Hubler. He passed peacefully at Oroville Hospital after an eighteen month battle with Liver Cancer. He refused to let the Cancer get him down, although, it was taken over his energy. He was in the US Army 1959 to 1962. He was in stationed in Germany for 36 months. His Uncle Donald and Aunt Jesse Snyder were stationed on the same Army Base at the time he was there. His main work was repairing Rail Cars for private companies. This work brought the family to Oroville 1970, for employment at Solano Rail Car. For 18 years, after his heart attack, he walked every morning around our country mile neighborhood, with the family dog. He enjoyed stopping and talking with the neighbors when he could catch them outside. He was very good at doing all home repairs. His passion was woodworking. He made the home furniture and many decorative pieces for the home and friends. He enjoyed yard work and doing a vegetable garden every spring and summer. Dale coached Little League Baseball, the Giants, in Thermalito, from 1973 to 1984. He continued to have a friendship with some of his players and their families until his passing. He was an avid hunter and camper. In the winter months he enjoyed 4-wheeling in the mud and snow with a group of his friends. His favorite hobby was his classic car, a 1963 Ford Galaxy Convertible, which he proudly drove around town and to car shows. He was a devoted member to the Oroville Dam Cruisers. He developed a strong friendship with many of the club members. He is survived by his wife Barbara J. of 47 years. Sons: James Hubler, Ted (Miguel) Cluver and Duane (Simone) Cluver. Daughter: Kim (John) Andrews. Brother: Charles W. (Claire) Hubler. Grandchildren: Blake, Rylee, John, Kristen, Dylan, Donny, Dakota, Cheyanne and Amber. Two great grand children. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sons: Robert and Michael Hubler. Brothers: Jimmy and Curtis Hubler, his favorite aunt and uncle Don and Jesse Snyder. Niece: Renee' Lena Shelden. A pot luck, Celebration of Life will be 12/02/2017 11:30 p.m. at the Oroville United Methodist Church, 45 Acacia Ave. (530) 534-9455. A private grave side service will be held at a later date.
