DAVID DEAN BEEBE Obituary
DAVID DEAN BEEBE

David Dean Beebe peacefully passed away on July 5, 2010, at home surrounded by his loving family, after bravely battling cancer for twelve years. He was born on July 1, 1931 in Durango, CO to Homer and Catherine Beebe.

At the age of six years, the family moved to Paradise, CA where he spent his childhood. He graduated from Chico High School in 1949 and attended two years of Business College. He was married to the love of his life, Bonnie for 58 years. Shortly after marriage, he was drafted into the Marine Corp., where he proudly served for two years. The Marine Corp. instilled his motto "I am an old Marine and I was born to serve". David was blessed with two children, Debra Lee McDonald from Missoula, MT and the late James Allen Beebe. He thoroughly enjoyed his family, which consisted of six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Growing up, David loved fishing, swimming, and playing sports. As an adult, David's true passions were golfing, camping, and traveling around the world with his wife. David enjoyed a 39 year career in management for Pacific Gas and Electric. He volunteered and served in many charities and organizations, including SIRS, Elk's, Kiwanis, Jaycee's, and Toastmasters.

David was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings; his son, James, and also his grandson, Arron Clark, who was killed while serving in Iraq. David is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his daughter, Debbie (George) McDonald; granddaughter's Kelly (Kevin) Kampschmidt, Kimberly Fulton, Jessica (Dustin) Rogers; grandson's, James Beebe and Dwayne Beebe; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, many wonderful friends, and his cherished puppies, Misty (Black-eyed Pick-a-pie) and Tasha (Ta-Ta).

David was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Anyone fortunate enough to know him is truly blessed. He is so deeply missed and will live in our hearts forever.
