I knew David & Dennis when they were young men living on Harlan Ave. They used to come over to my Grandmothers house and swim in her pool. David was always nice to us younger kids. My Grandmother (Boo) was very fond of
David and wanted him to study music from her.
Rest in peace David.

My Uncle David was a Vietnam Vet and a giving and helping man would help anyone who needed it and on that fateful November 8th day he rescued 9 people before going back in to help more and succumbed to the fire My Hero always we will miss him

I didn't know David, but my heart goes out to his family. My mother lost everything in the #campfire, and from her pain, I felt compelled to do something special. I wrote this name poem especially for David:
D: Is for Delighted, to wear a piece of crystal you found,
A: Is for Active, reading, hiking or swimming is where you could be found.
V: Is for Vintage, A gem that's one-of-a-kind,
I: Is for Intelligent, you have a great mind.
D: Is for Devoted, Loving ties that will forever bind.
For someone I never knew - Rest in Peace, David!
