DERALD GLENN "BUZZ"SIMPSON Sept 25, 1931-April 22, 2013 Buzz Simpson passed away quietly in his home on April 22, 2013. He was 81 years old. He was known to family as "Uncle Sweetness". He was born in Wasco, Ca, September 25, 1931. He was a veteran of US. Air Force and played on an international military baseball team. He was stationed in England and Guam before his retirement. Buzz always enjoyed playing golf. He and his wife Anna spent many years living in Pacific Grove, Ca and Paradise, Ca. They spent many summers vacationing at Lake Almador. He is preceded in death by his mother, Frances Simpson Sirpless, his father Glenn Simpson and wife, Anna Simpson, his brother Wesley Simpson, sisters, Marna Tassey Bullock and Jean Lambright. He is survived by nephews Jeff Tassey (Carolyn) of Winton, Brian Tassey (Judy) of Atwater, James Glenn Simpson (Madeline) of Seattle, Steve McKinney (Katie) of San Antonio, TX, and nieces Frances Laub (David) of Atwater, LuAnne Lewis (Bob) of Stockton., Nancy Lambright of Colorado, Rebecca Dudeiros (Bill) of Oregon. As well as eight great nieces and nephews and eight great-grand nieces and nephews. Although he left us much to early we know we'll see him again someday and feel incredibly lucky to have had him in our lives. A special thank you to all the doctors and nurses and wonderful caregivers who took care of Uncle Sweetness and especially Michelle, Laura, Theresa, Viridiana & Bryce who were with him to the end.
