It's been a long time since I last saw you, but your voice sounded exactly as remembered on the last phone call.
Thank you for keeping the box of acorns from the Van Alstine Avenue house in Carmichael. You let me explore my first toadstool mushrooms, picked from the berry bush thicket, and exploring nature there.
Still have the leopard print pillowcase which seemed like the neatest thing when you gave it to me with the remaining piece used to cover a brick for a door stop.

Dorothy was a kind lady, she always asked how you were doing and always inquired about the well being of volunteers who were absent.
