May 16, 1921- July 13, 2009

Elizabeth (Libby) Miller passed away on Monday, July 13, 2009, of natural causes. She was 88 years old and a resident at Windsor Chico Creek.

Born to Maude E. and Harry Miller on May 16, 1921 in Wenatchee, Washington. She was the surviving member of 11 children. In 1928 the family moved to Chico and settled in the family home on Hooker Oak Avenue where she grew up exploring the nooks and crannies of Bidwell Park.

In 1940 she married Tony Margado and they had three children. Libby was a hard worker and helped tirelessly on the family farm as well as being a foster mother for The Children's Home Society, thus caring for many babies and young people as well as her own family.

She was also a big influence in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Sandra Kruger (Louis) of Chico, Anthony "Tony" Morgado (Susan) of Oregon, Debra Ann Morgado of Chico; as well as six grandchildren; five great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
