Former Oroville resident Faith Ann Gothan Strang returned to her Father in Heaven on October 22, 2011 in Thompson Falls, Montana, at the age of 73.

Leaving behind her husband, Clifton E. Strang of 55 years; her four children, Clifton L. Strang of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Laurie Sousa of Oroville, Daryl E. Strang of Thompson Falls, Montana, and Deanna F. Strang of Sunrise, Florida; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Chrystal Dankert of Prudenville, Michigan, Karen Howe, and Patty Taylor, both of Oroville.

Her parents, Marcus Gothan and Virginia Hope Harnick, and brother, Marcus Gothan preceded her in death.

Faith had a tremendous love for her family and built enduring memories. As a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints she loved to serve others and teach the youth about God's love for each of us.

She was an avid quilter and gardener, many were blessed as she loved sharing her talents.

Faith had dedication in preserving her great heritage through gathering her family history. She valued close friends as treasures and has touched many by her dynamic personality.

Faith Ann was greatly loved, and her warm smile and gracious presence will be missed.
