JACK WAYNE LEE Jack Wayne Lee, age 79 of Oroville, passed away in his home on December 23, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Jack was born June 21, 1934 in Breckenridge, Texas to Jesse & Audrey Lee. Jack was the fourth of seven children. After graduating high school, Jack served four years in the U.S. Navy as an Electronic Engineer. Later he attended Cal Poly and Chico State. Jack retired as an Electronic Engineer from the U.S. Geological Survey. After retiring, he worked for Aero Union of Chico and Spectra Physics of Oroville. Jack married Kathryn Holt in 1962. They were happily married for 46 years and had three children. Kathryn preceded him in death. In 2009, Jack married Christine Oates. They enjoyed traveling and attending family sports functions. They were members of the Foothill Community Church where they actively served. He is survived by his wife, Christine Oates Lee, his sons Robert Lee of Oroville, Allen Lee of Chico and daughter Debra Truelock (Rex) of Galt, sister Caroline MacLeod (Norman) of Roy, Washington, brothers Jesse Lee (Shirley) of Oroville and Clifford Lee of Baldwin Park, California, five grandchildren Emma Lee, Courtney and Madelyn Truelock, Spencer and Owen Lee, five step-children, nieces, nephews and numerous extended family members. Jack was affectionately known by his family as Guh, Saucy and Jacky Wayne. Think of Jack and rejoice that he is with his Heavenly Father. A Celebration of Life service will take place at Foothill Community Church, Oroville, on February 22 at 2:00 PM.
