JOAN (JO AN) ROSSITER-IRMER Joan (Jo an) Rossiter-Irmer, age 90 was called home by Jesus on March 29, 2021. Born in York, NE July 16, 1930. At 18 married LeRoy Irmer, deceased. Survived by brother Don from York. Loving mother of Terry, Phil, Martin, & Rodney. Imagine raising and keeping 4 boys and a husband out of trouble in the 60's? Kept books for husband's auto repair shop; grand & great grandmother to many; retired from Crestwood Convalescent after 25 years. Loved camping and kicking up her heels square dancing with Roy. As a strong Christian she loved attending church and reading her Bible. Graveside services at Glen Oaks Thursday, April 8 at 10 a.m. In respect to some people's sensitivities, please refrain from wearing colognes and perfumes.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. It is hard to find the words for the Family and Friends. Your grief will soften with time. I am so glad you had Your Mother through out your life. She now has Pease and will always live in Your Heart and Mind. "Thoughts and Prayers." Linda

I met you as my boyfriend's mom. You became my mother-in-law. You were my advisor, my friend, an eating-pizza-beer drinking buddy, concert in the park companion, and you became my boss. It was a privilege to serve and assist you as you needed. I am glad I was there for you. I'm sad you are no longer any of those things in the flesh. I do have comfort knowing you are in Heaven with Jesus having the best time.

May god bless Aunt Joan’s family. May she be at peace. I enjoyed her coming to York to visit. I’m so glad she got to come a couple years ago. Thank you Rod and Angie for bringing her. I know Grandpa Don enjoyed talking to her every Saturday. We have special memories that we will cherish forever. Keep your good memories close in your hearts forever.

Joan and Roy brought the most wonderful son to life, Rodney Gene Irmer. Thank you for always being there for him. He loved you more than words can say. We both love you mama. God has an angel to watch over your large clan still left on earth. We love and miss you. ❤❤❤❤
