1952 - 2010 Obituary Condolences

Joseph Anthony Wagner aka One Eye, died Friday, June 18, 2010 while doing what he loved; riding his Harley. He collided head on with a deer just outside of Susanville while on his way to the funeral of a family friend.

Joe was born July 17, 1952 in Anderson, Indiana to Raymond and Anna Mae Wagner. He leaves behind the love of his life, Lisa Devall and step children, B. J., Ellie, Josh and Aly. His immediate family, brothers, Michael, Francis, David, Billy (deceased), Jimmy and sisters, MaryAnna and Julie. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters of his beloved Americans Motorcycle Club of which he has been a member for 31 years.

He attended St. Thomas and Las Plumas High School in Oroville, CA. Joe was known for his welding and engineering expertise throughout the agricultural community. He was involved in the building of many of the almond and walnut hullers as well as the manufacturing of specialized farm equipment found on local farms today. Joe was known throughout the motorcycle community and many will be in attendance. He will be sorely missed.

A wake, to be announced, will be sponsored by The Americans MC after the services.

There will be a memorial mass at Our Divine Savior, 566 E. Lassen Ave., Chico at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2010.
